Beilenson Appointed Chairman of the Board, Surrey Services for Seniors |

Beilenson and Strategic Communications & Planning serve several leading national non-profit aging organizations including AARP, the National Council on Aging, and the John A. Hartford Foundation. He is also the editorial director of Infoaging.org, an educational website of the American Federation for Aging Research, and the author or editor of 16 books, including The Future Me: Authoring the Second Half of Your Life, an interactive journal about successful aging. He holds an AB in History and Literature from Harvard University and an MA in communication studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to Surrey, Beilenson currently serves on the Board of City Year Greater Philadelphia and is a trustee of The Old Eagle School in Strafford, PA. Surrey Services for Seniors is a non-profit senior services organization offering a variety of programs, activities and support services designed to engage older adults as active members of the community and enable them to remain living at home with dignity and independence. Since 1981 Surrey has been serving people age 55+ living in along the Main Line from Bryn Mawr to Malvern, and in Marple and Newtown Townships. Today, over 3,500 older adults benefit from Surrey’s “resource for living” approach.
