Title: Senior Director –
Home Care Services
Reports to: President
Surrey Services is a growing organization
whose mission is to help older adults live in their homes with
independence and dignity and to continue as active members of
the community. The Home Care Department is poised for growth
and change and is looking for a senior level leader to drive a
new initiative.
Surrey’s Home Care department is
experiencing a strong growth rate and is exploring the
development of a new business model. We are looking for an
energetic strategic thinker who can manage the business, manage
the staff and help turn vision into reality. This position
calls for some business development opportunities plus business
plan development. The candidate will need Health Care
experience, preferably Home Care experience, as well as
interpersonal skills. They will also need strong computer skills
and be comfortable developing and working with budgets and
statistics. The successful candidate will project a positive,
professional image of Surrey in the community while sustaining a
pleasant and nurturing work environment.

Title: Cook part-time
(20-25 hours per week)
Reports to: Activities Manager
Surrey Services is currently seeking a Food
Services Coordinator/Cook who is responsible for the day-to-day
lunch program operation. The cook prepares lunch for 30-40
seniors 4 days per week, develops kitchen schedules and menus,
manages food and supply orders within budget, organizes and
coaches volunteer staff and maintains safe operation and
cleanliness of kitchen.
Applicants must have prior experience as a
cook and should hold a Certified Food Handler license.

Title: Activities
Manager (25 hours per week)
Reports to: Senior Program Director
Surrey Services is a growing organization
whose mission is to help older adults live at home with
independence and dignity and to continue as active members of
the community. Surrey is currently seeking an Activities
Manager to create, plan and implement programs to foster this
mission. The diverse program offering includes educational,
informational, intergenerational, nutritional, social and
recreational experiences and events, both within and outside
Surrey House in Berwyn. This position reports to the Senior
Programs Director and oversees the Surrey Café and Fitness
Center. This manager implements an annual business plan,
manages to meet budget and statistical measures, works closely
with volunteers, and collaborates with other staff to ensure a
quality experience for all.
A successful applicant will exude
enthusiasm and a positive attitude while ensuring a consistently
caring, cooperative and efficient delivery of services in a
member-based environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is
required as well as strong interpersonal skills. A Certified
Food Handler license is considered a plus.
