Surrey Employee Received Martin Luther King Jr. Recognition Award |

Assitan Kouma, an employee of Surrey Services for Seniors’ Homecare Department received the MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. RECOGNITION AWARD on Monday, January 16, 2006, from Fredericka E. Waugh, MLK Program Coordinator for the Delaware Valley Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association. This award recognizes Ms. Kouma for her exemplary service to persons with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. Since 1981, Surrey has been serving people 55 and older who live in communities from Bryn Mawr to Malvern and in Marple and Newtown Townships. Today, some 3,000 older adults benefit from Surrey’s “resource for living” approach. |
